Many of you know I own a web design firm in Boerne. I recently was struck to note that doing a search on "Boerne web design" yielded no first page placement for Digett. The first reference to our company's web site appeared on the third page of the search results. Mind you, most of our business is outside of Boerne. But as this area grows, that trend is slowing. We also appreciate being able to work with our clients face-to-face when the opportunity presents itself. Search engine positioning, then, is important for us.
So I set out to get Digett better placement for the search terms Boerne web design by posting a blog entry containing these keywords. I pre-dated the article, as I didn't really want it showing up near the top of our blog. The actual date of posting was somewhere during the first couple weeks of May. Here it is a month later, and we now have position #3 on Google for this particular search. I'm hoping this post will help improve upon that, and my goal would be to have us up to #1 by the middle of next month. Stay tuned.

Brian, thanks for your comment, and my apologies if you found my post offensive. I've heard great things about you and am sure you have many happy clients. I tip my hat to anyone who can guarantee their clients a top spot on major search engines. Take care, and I'll see you 'round town.

Thanks for the coments back sorry I just saw them today or I would not have taken other measures. I would appreciate it if you would remove the blog about the duplicate content where you mention my name. That is not an ordinary practice for me, I was just trying to get your comments off of the front page of the search engine. I don't mind having only one listing on the front page of google, nor do I mind the competition as it only makes us stronger and helps us to continously sharpen our skills. If you would kindly remove these posts I would be happy to remove my duplicate sites that are starting to pile up on the google search engine as I realize it is not fair for the other sites either that are starting to be pushed to the second page. Mark, I really do not appreciate your comments, I do not claim to soley be a web design firm but I do design websites as part of my business. I have done quite a few websites in Boerne and they are all very happy with the work I have provided for them at a very reasonable rate and I have made sure they all come up first on the major search engines. I have referred business to you before for a few clients that wanted higher end websites but there also is a good market in Boerne for small to medium size businesses and there are enough to go around without us feeling the need to attack each other. You do a fine job, but I am also proud of the work and service that I provide for my customers. Thanks, Brian
